This web site is owned and operated by the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation. We, the staff and board of directors of the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation, recognize that many visitors to our site are concerned about the information they provide and how we treat that information. What kind of information does the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation collect?

oundation does not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. You can visit the site without telling us who you are or revealing information about yourself. However, if you specifically agree to provide the Foundation with identifiable information, such as by asking to be put on our mailing list, participating in a survey or purchasing tickets, the Foundation may contact you from time to time. The Foundation may also maintain a record of your performing art interests and your purchases online and in our database.

How does the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation use my information?
When you make a purchase from the Grand Opera House's Web site, the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation uses your information to process your order. The Foundation will also send you emails to confirm your order, and may need to contact you via phone, postal mail or email if there are questions regarding your order. When you sign up with the Foundation or participate in a contest or promotion (online, over the phone, or in person) you may choose whether or not you would like to receive emails regarding services, contests, and promotions. From time to time, emails may be sent to you to help the Foundation learn more about your performing arts preferences. In addition, information about your interests and purchases may be used to help improve the site's design and your viewing experience. If you make a purchase online or over the phone, the Foundation may also send you notices about its services, contests and promotions through postal mail.

Does the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation share my information with third parties?
The Foundation does not sell or share your information with a third party, unless that party is an affiliate who rents the Grand Opera House. An affiliate has the right to request the names and addresses of the patrons who attended the activity that the affiliate presented. For example, if a local community theater production produced a musical and sold tickets to those performances, the local community theater group would have the right to request names and addresses of only those patrons who attended the musical produced. The affiliate is not entitled to any other patron information (credit card numbers, email addresses, phone numbers etc); only the patrons names and addresses of which is specific to the affiliate's presentation.

How do I remove my information from email, phone, and postal mailing lists?
The Foundation wants to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive information from us, either through email, postal mail or by phone, please let us know by sending us an email or calling us at (920) 424-2350.

How does the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation protect kids' privacy?
Like you, the Foundation is concerned about the safety of children when they use the Internet. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a subscriber is under the age of 13 and has signed up without prior verifiable parental consent, we will remove his or her personally identifiable information from our files. Please note: the Foundation may nevertheless maintain a record of that person's name and address in a "do not sign up" file to avoid subsequent sign up by a child under the age of 13.

What are cookies? Does the Oshkosh Opera House Foundation use cookies on its site?
A cookie is a small data file that Web sites often store on your computer's hard drive when you visit their sites. A cookie may contain information (such as a unique user ID), that is used to track the pages of the sites you've visited. The Foundation does not currently use cookies.

The Grand Opera House Web site may contain links to other sites that are not under our control.
