The Grand Opera House is pleased to announce the third annual community-wide season-announcement event. The entire community is invited to Opera House Square to Get the Grand Scoop on the Grand Opera House’s 2007-2008 season. The Grand Scoop was designed as a fun-filled community event featuring free frozen treats, live entertainment, family activities, kids games, tours of The Grand and more on Sunday, July 1st from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The 2007-2008 performance series will be “officially” unveiled as part of the day’s festivities.
Kids can play in a variety of kid-friendly games for free prizes while all ages can enjoy free refreshments. Live performances are scheduled throughout the afternoon, featuring the local organizations which call The Grand “home,” and giving them a chance to preview their 2007-08 events.
Throughout the afternoon community members can step onstage to get a sneak peek of the season from the best “seat” in the house-center stage! The 2007-2008 season preview can be viewed on the big screen, while sitting right on stage, all afternoon. The opera house will also be open for self-guided tours with volunteers stationed to any answer questions community members may have.
The Grand Scoop will also present the opportunity to pre-order tickets for the 2007-2008 21st Anniversary Season, as well as to join The Grand’s annual donor program and “Be a Grand Star!” and receive priority seating along with other membership benefits.
