Celebrate the Grand Opera House’s 130th anniversary in downtown Oshkosh at the Grand Scoop on Saturday, June 22 from 9a.m. to noon in the Opera House Square.
There will be free children’s games, a bounce house, free food, refreshments and enjoy a free Scoop of Ice Cream, all in celebration of the historic Grand Opera House’s 130th anniversary. Enjoy plenty of free, family-friendly musical entertainment as well!
Back by popular demand, we will be featuring free face-painting for children of all ages! It’s also the first opportunity for members of The Grand to purchase individual or season tickets for the upcoming 2013-14 Season.
Designed by Oshkosh architect William Waters the Grand Opera House first opened its doors on August 9, 1883. Exactly 130 years later we’re commemorating this milestone and celebrating the fact Oshkosh is home to Wisconsin’s Oldest Operating Theater Building.
We hope you’ll join us for a day of fun in the sun in downtown Oshkosh!
